The following study was "well done" according to conventional scientific standards. From a homeopathic standpoint however, the study is flawed. This study did not individualize the homeopathic medicine nor compensate for the lack of it.
Lancet, 97-98.
This study compared the results of an unindividualized remedy for osteoarthritis with a conventional drug and a placebo without admission criteria that would permit use of an unindividualized homeopathic medicine. (See Effect of Homoeopathic Treatment on Fibrositis BMJ 1989, in our "mainstream journals" section.) The homeopathic medicine was not found to be more effective than placebo.
