A new long term study of chronically ill patients in Europe that used homeopathy for eight years shows that they benefited considerably.
A press release from 7thSpace Interactive describes the results of a 2008 study by Claudia M Witt, Rainer Ludtke, Nils Mengler and Stefan N Willich, published in BMC Public Health 2008, 8:413.
This eight-year study included 3709 patients in Germany in Switzerland under the care of 103 homeopathic care practices.
In addition to the primary complaint remaining better for eight years, physical and mental quality of life sores also increased considerably. Younger age, female gender and more severe disease at baseline were factors predictive of better therapeutic success.
