There is a petition up on Change.org regarding Sec 2706 of the Affordable Care Act (ACA) written by California state resident, Stephanie Taylor, who has been denied access to midwifery during her pregnancy by her insurer. In response Stephanie created this petition to insurers and legislators in California (and likely, to the CA Insurance Commissioner) to let them know they need to follow the law and not discriminate. On a calculated whim, I moved with my family to Costa Rica for a year, to broaden our horizons and to practice homeopathy in a supportive environment.
